Benoit F. Leleux
Benoit Leleux is an internationally recognised specialist in entrepreneurship, venture capital, private investments and family businesses.
Benoit has several academic degrees, including a PhD from INSEAD, specialising in Corporate Finance and Venture Capital and MBA from Virginia Tech. Now he teaches at IMD, where he ran for a long time the MBA programme and research centre. Since 2008 Benoit has been director of the IMD award Lombard Odier Global Family Business.
Benoit’s educational courses for managers at all levels have received more than a dozen international awards and are used at leading international corporations.
Lluis Martinez-Ribes has an MBA from ESADE, University of Stirling (Great Britain) and Harvard Business School. Today he is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Innovation in Marketing and Retail at ESASE, one of the world’s top business schools.
Lluis has worked in 26 countries for such companies as Bayer, Coca-Cola, Danone, Desigual, Heineken, IKEA, Nestlé, Pepsico and Unilever. He has been a visiting lecturer at the Academy of Retail Trade and was appointed an Expert in Retail Innovation for the European Commission.
Pierre Casse is Professor at Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO and a visiting lecturer at a number of universities in France, England and the USA. Previously he was Professor at IMD and Chair of the Faculty of Leadership at Solvay Business School. Pierre is Dean Emeritus of the Berlin School of Creative Leadership.
Pierre’s research interests include organisational behaviour, the global market and cultural differences, international negotiations and strategic leadership. He has published several books on these topics, and in 2016 the publishing house Alpina Publisher issued Pierre’s first book in Russian: Challenging Leadership: The Skolkovo Approach.
Dr. Casse also works as an external consultant for a number of multinational companies. He is the CEO of Business Innovation Network and the President of the Private Foundation.
Professor Nadauld is the Goldman Sachs Faculty Fellow and Assistant Professor of the Department of Finance at the BYU Marriott School of Business. His research focuses primarily on the securitisation of financial markets, expansion of standard lending and the decline in the securities market. His articles have been published in such journals as The Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies and Real Estate Economics.
In 2013 Professor Nadauld was declared an honorary member of the Society for Financial Studies. He received the best professor award for three years in a row from his peers at Brigham Young University.
The professor has also worked as analyst at the American research group of Goldman Sachs in New York. He is co-founder of Visible Equity LLC – which provides risk analysis software to more than 500 financial institutions in the country.
Taylor is an avid sportsman, and in 2001 played for America’s national rugby team.
Derrald Stice teaches at HKUST on master’s programmes, MBA and Executive MBA programmes, and is a professor of Financial Accounting at the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO. Derrald has significant experience of working in CIS countries: in the past he lived in Ukraine and taught in Kazakhstan. He has won teaching awards on numerous occasions.
As well as teaching, Derrald is a financial consultant and dedicates most of his time to research. His area of expertise is accounting and its use on capital markets, and also how to avert stagnation and crisis in business. Derrald’s research is constantly published in topical publications. In 2016 he published a number of articles in the Wall Street Journal.
Nikos Tsikriktsis is Professor of Operations Management at CEIBS (China). Previously he taught at IMD and the London School of Business and Finance. He has a PhD and MBA in operations management from Boston University.
Nikos studies operations strategy, service management and logistics. He has published articles in such business journals as Management Science, Journal of Operations Management and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management.
Nikos designs educational programmes, delivers training courses and participates in the implementation of consulting projects for a number of organisations operating in the construction, mining industry and financial sectors all over the world.
Evgeny Kaganer has a PhD in philosophy from Louisiana State University, MBA from Syracuse University and MA from the State Medical Academy. At present he is a lecturer at IESE where he teaches on the MBA programme on digital business and IT strategy at a dynamic organisation, and also holds the post of Director for Learning Innovation.
Prior to his academic career, Evgeny worked at a major financial company in Russia. Now he focuses more on teaching and research, and studies changes in organisational business models after the implementation of IT technologies. Evgeny has published articles in such business journals as the MIT Sloan Management Review, Communications of the Association for Computing Machinery and the Journal of the Association for Information Systems.

Tomas Casas i Klett
Tomas Casas i Klett specialises in three areas: finance, international management and political science. In 2005 he completed his PhD at the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland). Tomas is fluent in English, Spanish, German, Japanese and Chinese.
Tomas started his career as a businessman. Now he is a business angel and focuses primarily on strategic issues.
Since 2006 Tomas has been teaching at the University of St. Gallen and has been a partner of the Institute for Leadership and Human Resource Management at the University. He teaches primarily courses on entrepreneurship and corporate governance. Tomas created the course Doing Business in Asia, paying particular attention to Japan, India and China. Tomas also works regularly with MBA and EMBA students, and also the leadership of such internationally recognised academic institutions as the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto (Canada), the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and INSEAD. Since 2009 he has been a regular lecturer on different programmes at the School of Management at Fudan University.

Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez is a leading global project management and strategy implementation specialist. He is the creator of such concepts as the Hierarchy of Purpose featured in Harvard Business Review and the Project Manifesto. In his works, Antonio explains that the project management approach is the framework for combining business and personal relations.

Stephen Carver has an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, where he works to this day as a teacher. Like many other professors, he started his career in business. Stephen was responsible for strategic change at a multinational corporation, was head of the Floating Harrods project company for Virgin and managed oil production projects in the North Sea. At present he runs a company providing project management services for major banks and law firms, including a number of companies on the FTSE-100 list.
Stephen spends most of his time on teaching and research, proactively studying project management, crisis management and communications. He has published articles in such business journals as Management Focus and Project Management Journal and the FT Handbook of Management.
Jim Pulcrano has an MBA from IMD and PhD from Grenoble Ecole de Management.
Before teaching, Jim worked as an engineer in the Mexican Gulf and West Africa at Schlumberger and managed a Swiss medical equipment manufacturer.
In March 1993 Jim joined the leadership team at IMD. He focuses primarily on entrepreneurship and the Silicon Valley, and also research on development strategies and innovations.
