Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO views sustainability as an added-value concept for business, public sector and communities, which combines economic, environmental, social and ethical dimensions and reveals new opportunities for growth and competitiveness in the context of sustainable development goals.
As a school of management, we are uniquely positioned to inspire leaders with powerful ideas, equip them with effective frameworks and tools for making real impact, as well as provide an independent platform for an open dialog on the burning issues for the business and society. We aim to integrate sustainability into our product offering and operations as well as develop our internal expertise on the related topics.
According to our values, we develop responsible, proactive, flexible leaders who are capable of anticipating and shaping trends and managing large-scale transformations. One of the biggest challenges that modern leaders are facing today is transformation of traditional business models to sustainable ones. Understating of the nature of sustainability concept and ability to manage the organization in the age of social and environmental challenges, scarcity of natural resources and increasing expectation of consumers, society and authorities are becoming crucial part of the modern leader’s DNA. Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO develops targeted programs for sustainability professionals and NGOs as well as integrates sustainability agenda into existing programmes in order to equip responsible business leaders with a sustainability toolkit that can be applied in a local business environment.
